One of the best things about E.C.One is our location. We’re lucky enough to be based on Exmouth Market - a lively street in Clerkenwell known for its independent shops, creative businesses and brilliant places to eat and drink.

Independent Shops on Exmouth Market
Space
Established in 1998, the Mum and Daughter team somehow fell into retail and found that there’s a whole lot of fun to be had when you’re selling good stuff to good people. The shop is bright, colourful and packed with great gifts - either for others or yourself! The team have a passion for pattern and colour.
Marby and Elm
Marby & Elm is a letterpress stationery and design shop. What began as a hobby in a garden shed has become a family business. Eleanor is the designer, Charlie, her sister, manages the shop, their father is the lettering artist whilst Tim their brother does the photography & website. All the products are designed in the shop and most are made and packed right here in Clerkenwell.
In the thick of the 2021 coronavirus lockdown, designer and shopowner Eleanor Tattersfield put out a call on Instagram: 'I'll send you a postcard, you send me a secret'. Lockdown Secrets is an astonishing record of what happened next.
Postcards poured in, some beautifully decorated, some simply handwritten, but each one anonymously sharing a very personal confession.

Moro
The renowned Moro is just opposite EC One and is known for attracting the odd famous face or two…
Moro’s cuisine takes its inspiration from a cooking tradition rooted in the 700-year Moorish occupation of Spain (C8th-C15th). The era brought together two great culinary traditions creating a food culture rich in heady aromatics and exotic spices. The dishes at Moro are always made authentically, true to their specific origins, be they Spanish or Moroccan, Iranian or Turkish.
Morito
Morito is a tapas & mezze bar next door to sister restaurant Moro and has been described by Times critic Giles Coren as “simultaneously supercool and modest, and as much like a brilliant little backstreet place in Spain as you’ll find in this country”
Caravan
Located at the end of Exmouth Market, Caravan is a bright and airy space with glazed frontage on two sides and an outside terrace on the market. Serving up a well-travelled breakfast and all day food and drinks menus, along with freshly roasted coffee from the caravan roastery, Caravan’s style is open, relaxed and friendly. Head over for a coffee with the morning paper, a cocktail and small plates in the evening and anything in between!
Mikkeller
The microbrewery founded in 2006 in Copenhagen, Denmark and opened on Exmouth Market in 2019. The brewpub has a hip and industrial vibe and serves 20 different craft beers on tap & bottled brews.
