We have many customers who dream of their ideal piece of jewellery and we endeavor to create this for them. The experience of designing your own jewellery is fun and our customers love the chance to get creative.
Starting with a rough idea of what customers would like, we discuss in store and develop designs. Brain storming! With an idea of the design, we can, if desired, get stones in for the customer to view. This is often both ours and the customers favorite part of the commission. Who wouldn't like to look at beautiful stones?! Whether it be dazzling diamonds or fancy coloured gems, we discuss the qualities and prices of the stones we have sourced according to the specifications from the customer.
Our design team are happy to talk through through materials used for jewellery making, explaining the properties of different metals and what would work best for the design. We have many designs in store that can be used as reference for your bespoke piece.
A brilliant way to envisage the jewellery that has been imagined is to have either a CAD image drawn up or a silver model (maquette) made. Suddenly the piece comes to life! A perfect way to ensure that the concept of the item is how you imagined.
Once the customer is happy with the design and stones have been chosen, our talented goldsmiths can start translating the prototype into the real thing!
The beauty of having something made with us is that every piece is created through our in house workshop. This gives us the ability to directly translate your ideas, making any changes along the way. Customers can always contact us or pop in to see how the piece is coming along. Our goldsmiths are all trained diamond mounters who have been trained through the London Guild of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths.
Seeing bespoke jewellery commissions come to life is an exciting process that our customers enjoy. The end result sometimes even takes us by surprise, the outcome being even more amazing than even we could imagine. We have created some amazing pieces that we proudly show on or bespoke page ranging from family pet portraits engraved into wax seals, silver cigar holders, family crests carved into lapis lazuli and show stopping bombay rings.
