This beautiful ring is created in recycled 18ct gold and adorned with a flurry of graduated gold granules and pink sapphires. The disc of the ring is created from a single large gold granule, which is forged, rolled and domed by hand - before being adorned with exquisite granulation detailing.

Hannah Bedford skilfully combines the ancient art of granulation with innovative design to create her contemporary signature look. She is influenced by the natural world and the ever-changing movement of water.
Granulation is an ancient technique where jewellery is adorned with fine granules of gold or silver. The technique dates back over 5,000 years and Hannah uses it to create beautiful pieces that are set with precious stones like diamonds and sapphires.
