Jane Peacock is the designer behind jewellery label One of One which is hugely inspired by her obsession with all of the gorgeous buttons, beads and nick knacks hidden out of reach at her nanas house.
“With the one of one label, I want to create a collectable piece that will one day become a treasured heirloom. I love that jewellery develops a story of its own as it is gifted and passed on. It takes on its own meaning, reminding the person of a special time or event, and this is what I love most about designing jewellery. I myself am a collector and hoarder of odd little keepsakes, vintage children’s books, beads, postcards and these add to the inspiration of my work”
The one of one label is produced using hand-cut paper that is layered in resin and cast in sterling silver that takes several days to complete.
